Ballin’ Out is a five-part Emmy®-award-winning short documentary series, presented by Outsports, that follows Team USA’s women’s wheelchair basketball team on their road to the World Championship in Dubai. The series weaves together three powerful themes: living with a disability, mental health in elite sports, and LGBTQ+ identity. Between the intensity on the court and the vulnerability outside of it, an intimate portrait unfolds of athletes who push boundaries, defy expectations, and claim their own space in sports. After the documentary series, director Michiel Thomas will be available via a digital video call for a live Q&A session with the audience.
