‘COPYRIOT' is an intriguing, tragicomic performance by Krapp about identity in a world full of copies. Gloria always thought she was unique, until she meets herself. Or someone who looks exactly like her. With the same name, the same body, the same dreams. While she desperately tries to remain original, she loses herself more and more in a simulation of her own life. Inspired by the work of Charlie Kaufman and 'De Dubbelganger' by Fjodor Dostojevski, ‘COPYRIOT’ creates an alienating mirror world full of doubles and alienation.
