Christy and His Brother

After being kicked out by his foster family, 17-year-old Christy moves to the working-class neighbourhood where his brother Shane lives with his young family. The brothers haven’t seen each other for a long time, and Shane initially regards Christy’s arrival as temporary. As Christy slowly begins to feel at home, he discovers a small, close-knit community that welcomes him. At the same time, he is confronted by influences from his past.
