Late summer walk in the Kevie

Enjoy the peace and warm colors of late summer during a guided walk with a volunteer through nature reserve De Kevie. In September, there is often still a summery atmosphere, while nature slowly shows the first signs of autumn. The soft light, the rich shades of green, and the first warm autumn colors make this period special to discover De Kevie. During the walks, you will get to know the various sub-areas of De Kevie extensively. You will walk along damp hay meadows, marshes, and valley forests and discover why this unique landscape is an important resting and transit place for migratory birds preparing for their long journey. 📅 Dates: Sunday, September 6 & Sunday, September 20, 2026 🕑 Start: 2:00 p.m. 📍 Departure: Nature.house De Kevie (within walking distance of the center of Tongeren) 🥾 Distance: +- 6.5 km.
