Family@TenDuinen 28/07: Workshop with LEGO® bricks by Little Brickroom

Supporting program 'De Duinenabdij and the sea' Are there any incredible LEGO® fans in your family? Then this workshop is for you! Het Abdijmuseum already has a gigantic LEGO® model of the abbey, but will be bringing out even more bricks on July 28th. Because that's when David Vanhee of Little Brickroom is coming by, whom you might know from the famous TV show about the bricks! Coincidentally, David is also an archaeologist. The perfect man, therefore, to bring the past to life through LEGO®, and in the very place where that mighty medieval Dunes Abbey once stood… You and your family will be given challenges by David. We will build in the theme of the current exhibition 'De Duinenabdij and the sea' and bring the abbey's fleet back to life: we will create the abbey's ships, the dunes, the beach with a tidal harbor, ... Your imagination is more than welcome for this building mission! Practical: 28/07. There are two possible times to join: at 2:30 PM and at 4:15 PM. Per family bubble (max. 4 to 5 people) This is a family activity (minimum supervision of one adult). Age: since there is some history involved, we recommend this workshop for ages 10 and up. Younger brothers or sisters are of course also welcome to join! Duration: approximately 1.5 hours Ticket price: 10 euros for an adult (18+). 5 euros for a child. (tickets available from June 8th) Location: Abbey Museum With your ticket, you can also visit the museum at your leisure before or after the workshop. The museum closes at 6 PM.
