The Sessions

The Sessions is an intimate documentary that follows a young student in the aftermath of sexual violence by someone she trusted. During her trauma therapy, she begins to rebuild her life, step by step. Outside of that, she speaks to almost no one about what happened to her. When she files a legal complaint, she has to deal with a legal system that is often difficult for victims to fathom. Specifically for Cinema ZED Leuven We, they are screening this documentary once within the context of the 10-day event of mental health.
