After the premiere of his previous show here and as a permanent MC of the Comedy Kapel-evenings, Milan Borms returns to Altena with his new performance GEVHOOLIGAN.
In GEVHOOLIGAN, there is rioting. Not on the street or with stones, but with the feelings of the audience.
Milan takes you into a performance that constantly oscillates between extremes: between a ‘Samsonized’ society and the urge to go hard against it. Between the edge of the abyss and the unexpected rescue by guardian angel Bart — the first guardian angel with a burn-out. Between small, recognizable vulnerabilities, such as crying in the supermarket, love, or an irrational fear of spiders, and the tendency to lash out at everything bigger than yourself.
Central is the inner conflict of the ‘gevhooligan’: someone who wants to kick as hard as they want to connect. Because even a stone-thrower needs a hug now and then.
With a dynamic mix of stand-up, humorous storytelling, and music, Milan brings a cabaret performance that chafes, touches, and above all sticks.
