IJLLAND - Ode to the Darkness (lying-down concert)

IMPORTANT: This concert is a lying-down concert, so don't forget to bring a mat, pillow, or blanket! IJLLAND makes visible and tangible through music, spoken word, and image what is often difficult to put into words. Your mental well-being will improve by leaps and bounds after attending this unique lying-down concert. Prepare for a special concert. As an audience, while lying down and with your eyes closed, you will be taken on a journey through the dark recesses of the soul with soundscapes, music, and storytelling. Ode aan de Donkerte is the first project of IJLLAND, a collective around writer Lies Verswijvel (Magic in Motion) and musician, composer Patricia Vanneste (Sohnarr, Driftwood, ex-Balthazar) and is a tribute to the emotions we struggle to deal with in our society. Darkness is an essential and fundamental part of life. Just as we cannot rush winter to spring and night to day, darkness can only be experienced sustainably if it is given the necessary time and space.
