What begins as a cheerful story about an exotic girl trip of four friends slowly grows into a moving and recognizable journey through motherhood — in all its forms. The youngest woman in the group is pregnant and is taken on vacation by her friends. They want to prepare her for what is to come: sleepless nights, toddlers, preschoolers, teenagers, adult children, love, letting go, loss, and everything in between. But as the story unfolds, their own lives also seep in more and more. Old fears, new desires, hidden secrets, comical misunderstandings, and juicy stories come to the surface.
