Allah is not obliged

Birahima, a ten-year-old orphan from Guinea, recounts with irony how he ends up in a tribal war while trying to reach his aunt in Liberia. He follows street vendor Yacouba, who convinces him to become a child soldier. Tossed back and forth between enemy factions, Birahima grows up quickly and learns to distrust the stories he is told.
