"When I paint, I have no path, I feel." A major artist of the contemporary Belgian scene, Patricia Kinard approaches color and its infinite nuances with deep intuition, like an inner melody that has always accompanied her. De Mahler to Debussy, music inspires each of her creative impulses, in resonance with the energy of nature. In the manner of a poetic garden, her painting opens a space where emotions circulate freely. She deploys there a work imbued with serenity, without emphasis or artifice, a fleeting grace, a light at water's edge, an inner peace that reveals itself through the compositions. From the Mahler series to the Clairières suite, each painting seems to carry the same silent promise, that of a soothing beauty and a reconciliation with the living. Linette Cajou - Memory in colors. Originaire de Provence, Linette Cajou plunges us into a poetic universe, at once sensual and candid, nourished by her Marseilles childhood and her travels from Russia to Japan. Her imaginary compositions take the form of dreamlike narratives, bathed in soft light, underlined with delicate contours inspired by Japanese aesthetics. In the manner of the Nabis or a solar Magritte, she diverts the techniques of gold leaf and lacquer to create a colorful alchemy that awakens in us the sensation of a suspended summer. The "Les plages" series is conceived as short films, a dive into the intimate and colorful daily life of childhood.
