Installation Speaking Characters / Matter of sound

Speaking Characters is a playful installation about the technology of sound. With magnets, copper wire, cardboard, plastic foil, paper, rope, metal cans, and stones, Wannes Deneer makes different types of speakers. Each with its own sound and appearance. As a visitor, you move freely through the installation and thus sculpt your own symphony based on the different sounds of the speakers. An ode to searching. An ode to listening
