Sunday, June 21, we will again visit one of the most insect-rich nature reserves in Klein-Brabant: the Moer in Eikevliet. With insects, you know even less than with other animals and plants what to expect, but you will always find insects. We are in the right period to look for a number of 'iconic' but rare and hard-to-spot butterfly species: the white admiral, the purple emperor, the white-letter hairstreak... For other species, the clearwing moths, we will cheat a little by luring them with pheromones. Meeting at 1:30 PM at the church of Eikevliet-Bornem, ending around 4:30 PM. Provide sturdy walking shoes. More info: joost.reyniers@telenet.be
