Kalmthoutse Heide - Unesco GEO-walk

Everyone interested in the geological history of the Kalmthoutse Heide is welcome on this walk. A UNESCO Global Geopark is an area recognized by UNESCO. Due to the geological heritage, cultural history, and nature, the area is of international value. Worldwide there are 169 Geoparks in 44 countries. During the walk, the geology, the landscape, the cultural-historical history, and the nature of the Kalmthoutse Heide, part of the UNESCO Geopark, will be discussed. A very varied walk – a general overview of the Kalmthoutse Heide in the context of the Geopark. Useful information: Appropriate footwear. Registration required with Daniel, no later than August 5.
