Aureum Brass, New Year's Concert

Start the new year on a festive note! Aureum Brass, the brass quintet of the Academie Maaseik rings in 2027 with a sparkling New Year's concert full of warm sounds, virtuosity and a touch of humor. The program includes the Quintet no. 1 by Victor Ewald, a true classic in the brass repertoire. In addition, the musicians take the audience on a varied journey: from cinematic atmospheres to Swiss folk tunes, and of course the light-footed elegance of Strauss cannot be missing – including the Pizzicato Polka and the Radetzky Mars to festive start the new year.
