Howlin' Roaddogs

Howlin’ Roaddogs is a funky-bluesy/americana band with roots from Deinze to Bruges. The band, founded at the beginning of this century around Ed De Smul and Björn Van Gompel, fell apart in 2009 and was restarted in 2022. With a benefit festival for Ukraine in May 2022, the kick-off was given for a series of about sixty performances across the country (from the coast to the Ardennes) and the band visited a number of renowned blues clubs. Howlin’ Roaddogs are now known for their own work but especially for their quirky approach to existing songs. Howlin’ Roaddogs have a vintage sound with contemporary energy! Anyone who loves soulful & Americana is in the right place in that warm rootsy area where funky blues, soul, and country meet.
