Spotting bats in Zottegem - evening walk

On Saturday, August 29, we will take you into a world that usually remains hidden: that of the bats. During a pleasant evening walk in Zottegem, you will learn more about their way of life, their food, their habitats, and their importance to nature. Our own work for these fascinating animals will also be briefly discussed. After the explanation, we will go exploring together in the dark. With the help of a bat detector, we make the ultrasonic sounds of bats audible. This way we can listen live to who is flying around – and based on their sound we try to recognize species. Participation is free, but advance registration is mandatory
