Labo-chantier Variétés: Theater "The cartographies of the future"

How to invest in the future? How to project it to better act upon it?
It is a game for 20 to 30 adults (from 15 years old) around a large table on which a large-scale blank sheet is placed. The adults are gathered around the table. And the actresses have a deck of future cards in their hands. But unlike usual cards that predict the future, these are cards that ask questions that everyone is invited to answer (“What color is the future?”, “What do you have left to do?”, “What do you expect from the future?”…).
As the answers and exchanges with the actresses progress, a written cartography of the future is superimposed on the real map of the present.
Two aids come to nourish the exchange: the aid of the philosopher, our friend Gérard (Gérard Guièze), and the aid of the poet, our friend René (René Char). Poetry and philosophy enlighten us with kindness, release the pressure valve of our shared reflections, and project a word beyond commentary that puts us resolutely in total grasp of the question of the future.
Between theater, philosophy, and performance, this proposal by the company Les guêpes rouges-théâtre offers a living space where words engage and where the future is written together, for the duration of a performance.
