Verenigde Staten, 128 minutes In 1917, the young, talented music student Lionel meets his fellow student David at the Boston Conservatory. A strong bond forms between them because of their great love for folk music. Als Lionel years later receives a letter from David, it leads to an improvised journey through the wilderness of Maine to collect folk songs. The understated but unmistakable chemistry between Paul Mescal (‘Hamnet’, ‘Aftersun’) and Josh O’Conner (‘The Mastermind’, ‘Challengers’) is the heart of this beautiful film, with wonderful cinematography and enchanting music.
