MESKEREM MEES & CARLOS GARBIN at the Huysmanhoeve

Meskerem Mees and Carlos Garbin play the music of 'Exit Above’ . The album was composed with the late Jean-Marie Aerts for the dance performance of ROSAS/Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker and honors the blues as a form of storytelling. The record reflects the tradition of disastrous songs: through music, we can - physically, spiritually, and mentally - overcome disasters. In addition to the musical highlights from the performance, Meskerem and Carlos bring some beloved classics from the blues repertoire. This unique, exclusive concert takes place in the Streekcafé of the Huysmanhoeve. There is room for only 80 people!
