The Roosenboom House

One of the most beautiful Art Nouveau examples in Brussels opens its doors to Arkadia visitors. La Maison Roosenboom, built by the architect of the same name in 1900 when he was not yet thirty years old, possesses one of the most beautiful Art Nouveau facades in Brussels with magnificent sgraffiti attributed to the artist Privat-Livemont and other details such as a boot scraper and a very elegantly integrated mailbox. Abandoned for many years and declared uninhabitable due to risks of fire and collapse, the house was the subject of breathtaking restoration work by its owners which returned the sgraffiti created by Privat-Livemont, the ironwork, and even the interior decorations to their original beauty. It is this exemplary renovation that we invite you to discover! We will ask you to leave your bags and umbrellas at the entrance and to be very respectful of the house.
