Hathor Consort folds the winter shut with music from Ireland, Brittany and North India
Dagen and nights become just as long. The world tilts towards the light. It is spring! Hathor Consort celebrates with Irish sean-nos that stomp like horse hooves, the Breton fest-noz that thunders on until deep into the night, and North Indian dhrupad with rhythms without rhyme or reason. Three traditions that never met but do tell the same story of growth, rebirth and harmony. A concert like a peeling: winter-tired inside, squeaky clean back on the sidewalk!
