Lasse Vonck was proclaimed and praised as a prodigy by press and public as a young artist. Thirty years later, that is no longer the case. That people have forgotten him over the years, he can still bear. But he is lost. He is looking for a goal, meaning. On a dull spring day, Lasse is so alienated from himself upon waking that he no longer really knows who he is. He can't even speak anymore. Confessie is a new theater text and monologue inspired by the timeless and matchless story De Gedaanteverwisseling van Franz Kafka. It paints a portrait of the human as a silent protest.
