Summer film: La venue de l’avenir

The summer film is the ideal end to the summer holidays, to see each other again and catch up. Het Franse theme of the film inspires a fine total experience with musical accompaniment and decoration with a drink beforehand. This year, we are showing La venue de l’avenir on our film night, a warm and nostalgic film that takes you to Paris at the end of the 19th century. When an abandoned farm in Normandy is demolished, the descendants of Adèle Meunier come together and start a search for their mysterious ancestor, who moved to Paris in 1895. The film is a poetic walk through a city where impressionism, photography, and bohemian life flourished. In good weather, you can enjoy the screening under the stars.
