Themed walk where we visit the “Stumbling Stones” of the resistance fighters and Jews who were killed during WWII By now, most of the resistance fighters and Jews who lived in Turnhout and were killed during WWII, by the German occupier, have received their “Stumbling Stone”. We find the stones at the last residential address or where the people worked. At the same time, we hear how the resistance in Turnhout was organized and what heroic deeds the various men and women performed.
