Archipelago, 5+, Hanafubuki

“What washes up on an island is for the finder, and the islanders find a lot.” - Roy Jacobsen Wist you that you are surrounded by a collection of things? Do you find them special? Do you throw them away? Do you forget them then? Can you find them back and keep them? In Archipelago we build together a new place for that large collection of things. A rough sponge, a blue bottle, a round stick, a soft stone and then a purple cloth. Lug, balance, look and rediscover the things. A landscape of rough, blue, round, soft and shiny. Archipelago is an island group on which you give shape to your imagination. In Archipelago invites Hanafubuki the audience in small groups at island-shaped tables. As landscape architects, the audience builds with a series of objects. For this, Hanafubuki collected and sorted objects that we do not attach much value to, throw away or forget. Archipelago is a meditative and playful rediscovery of everyday things.
