Konstantin Reymaier was born in 1967 and studied music at the University of Music and Performing Arts Muziek Wenen (MDW) and theology at the Universiteit van Wenen. After graduating, he was an organist at Little St Mary's in Cambridge (1994-1997) and director of music at Mansfield College in Oxford (1997-2011). In 2001, he was appointed visiting professor of organ and improvisation at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz (KUG). In 2005, he joined the seminary of the Archdiocese of Vienna and was ordained a priest in 2009. From 2010 to 2022, he was the diocesan director of church music, where he oversaw the restoration of many important historical instruments and the construction of new ones. His largest project was the organ in St. Stephen's Cathedral, which was completed in 2020. In 2016, he was appointed organist of St. Stephen's Cathedral in Vienna. He is regularly invited to perform in various countries and has made CD recordings for Priory Records and Deutsche Grammophon.
