Jubilee concert, a journey through time through 60 years of choir De Oosterster

Mixed choir ‘De oosterster’ from Veldwezelt is 60 years old. Sixty years ago, Mixed choir De Oosterster was founded. All those years, the choir brought together people who share a passion for music and singing together. The choir starts this jubilee year with a selection from the repertoire of that period. It will be a look back with songs that have been sung on various occasions; diverse concerts, but also weddings or funerals or on the many choir trips that have been made over the course of that time. Different genres, different conductors, but always with a passion for music. Each song tells a piece of our story and evokes memories of people, places, and special events. We would like to invite you on our journey back in time! Afterwards, there is a cozy get-together in the Berenhof.
