Triskelt Celtic Folk band performs during the Park Festivals in Sterrebeek

Kasteel Sterrebeek, Sterrebeek (Zaventem)
Free
Just outside the edge of Brussels lies the village of Sterrebeek. In the village center, a real castle gem is hiding. Hidden behind a long wall lie the beautiful gardens of the “Kasteel van Sterrebeek”. This stately, proud home was built as a country retreat for the Brussels banker Jean-Antoine Ories. The history of the castle and the phenomenal park around it goes back as far as 1761! Since 1958, the castle and the gatehouse have been protected as a monument, and the surrounding park has also been given protected landscape status. The domain is still private. Fortunately, there are the Parkfeesten! Thanks to the goodwill of the owners and the tireless efforts of a whole bunch of volunteers, you get free access to these authentic and unique gardens for 1 day per year (always the last Sunday of June). This year you can see and hear Triskelt perform 6 times, each time in one of the beautiful gardens in this park. Our program consists of about 20 minutes of fun acoustic Celtic music. And the good news is that admission is completely FREE.
