Be present at the very beginning of the creation process, and who knows, you might witness material that will be seen for the first and immediately the last time: you decide what is kept and what is trimmed with the pruning shears (okay, now we really stop). Welcome to our greenhouse. Biography Grof Geschud consists of Nederlandse Myrthe van Velden and Belg Lander Severins (both born in ’96). They met in 2014 at the Koningstheateracademie in ’s-Hertogenbosch and have been inseparable ever since. After graduating in 2018, they immediately went all-in for cabaret, resulting in an impressive career. With shows like LIJMEN (2019), BROEDEN (2021), and KROOST (2023), as well as the solo project BROER and the book DRIJVEN (2022), they have built a strong reputation within the Dutch-language cabaret world. Their work is characterized by sharp dialogues, musicality, and a unique mix of humor and emotion. The press is unanimously praising: “brilliant shows” (Humo), “highly talented cabaret duo” (De Standaard), and even “direct heirs of Kommil Foo” (Het Parool). In addition, you may also know them from their contributions to the afternoon journal on Radio 1 at Nieuwe Feiten , where they are part of the permanent pool of creatives.
