Bert Verbeke - Better than him

Twelve years after his solo Better than I, Bert Verbeke comes with a new musical narrative. With humor, self-deprecation, and music, he looks back on the twists and turns of life: from city boy to midlifer in a village. In Beter than he tells, Bert Verbeke tells the story of a totally unexpected turn in his life. A few years ago, he suddenly ended up in prison. How on earth did he end up there? And above all: why do some people keep calling him Bram? Bert Verbekes first role on television was that of Bram Schepers in the Flemish television series Thuis. In addition, he played guest roles in Witse, Zone Stad, and De Pretshow. He was also seen in the short film Daijobu with, among others, Gene Bervoets and Louis Talpe. Verbeke played the lead role of Lee in 2015 in Lee & Cindy C., the debut film of Stany Crets. In 2016, he played the role of Laurent Vandenbergh in the thriller series Coppers. From 2021 to 2023, he could be seen as Gert Albrechts in the telenovela Lisa.
