Christmas by the fireside - Cantic@Mare Ensemble

Het Cantic@Mare Ensemble warmly invites you to their annual Christmas concert. “Christmas by the Hearth” is an intimate and warm concert. Traditional and slightly less well-known Christmas carols transport you back in time, when family and friends still gathered cosily together around the hearth fire.\n\nThis nostalgic picture is beautifully complemented by the enchanting sounds of the string quintet Gustav (under the direction of Siewald Degraeve) and the heavenly trumpets of Alexander Ballegeer and Axl De Groote. Sopranen Sefien Vercouteren and Katrien Verbouw are guaranteed to lift your spirits.\n\nAs always, the whole event is under the expert direction of conductor Patrick Moeyaert, with the trusted accompaniment of pianist Marc Stepman.
