"Chauv·e" is a tender and irreverent drag stand-up. On stage, Blanket La Goulue dismantles the patriarchy through repurposed songs, summoning Céline Dion or Claude François to make their story resonate: that of a body outside the frame, of a voice in transformation, and of a being seeking to invent themselves far from norms. Between confidences, humor, and personal stories, Blanket transforms their flaws into a sensitive manifesto, their baldness into an ornament, and the cabaret into a space of shared struggle. It is political without dogma, queer in its contradictions, healing, and a bit utopian. We traverse inclusive writing, non-binary identity, and heartbreak in a world that is wavering, awakening, and searching for itself.
