Living room storytelling with Hilde, Stijn and Luther

TRULY IMPROBABLE Without desire, no life! How often has your existence, long before you were born, hung by a thread without you even realizing it? Based on truly improbable family stories about her great-grandmothers Gina, Maria, and Neeltje, the storyteller takes you through the randomness of existence. Is her presence luck, coincidence, or fate? Marike Verschoor, from the Amsterdam area, loves telling stories about powerful women and magical realist fairy tales. The latter can't be absurd enough for her! She graduated in 2024 from the storytelling academy in Utrecht with her storytelling program “De Nachtmare”. She travels monthly with great pleasure to Lier to continue her storytelling studies at the academy there. At her home, on the wall, hangs the trophy of the playful ‘Grijze Kanarie-storytelling competition’, which she won in 2023, in a place of honor. On Sunday, November 29, 2026, at 11:00 AM, Marike will be telling stories at Hilde, Stijn, and Luther, Kapellestraat 101 in Zulte.
