Flanders Gospel Choir

Het Flanders Gospel Choir originated in 1999 as a small project, but the members from all over Flanders got the hang of it and the occasional choir became a real choir. They have already been able to perform in many places, to the furthest corners of Flanders and even performances in the Netherlands and Luxembourg. The repertoire is very varied: classics like Amen and Amazing Grace, well-known songs like You Raise me Up, Bridge over Troubled Water, I will follow Him, supplemented with lesser-known songs by, among others, the Oslo Gospel Choir and other choirs. Hand-clappers, quiet ballads, intimate solo songs that make you think. In terms of genre not always to be brought together under one denominator, but in terms of content certainly: Gospel. From the first to the last note, this choir drags you along in a warm wave of rhythm, soul, and enthusiasm. Don't expect a stiff concert evening, but a sparkling experience where sitting still is almost impossible.
