During this lying-down concert, a refined soundscape of gongs, singing bowls, handpan, soft synthesizer, Chinese harp, and numerous other harmonic instruments unfolds. The tones move like soft light waves through the space and bring a feeling of clarity, openness, and freshness. While the sounds resonate, space arises in the head and softness in the heart. Deep relaxation takes over. This is a moment to simply be. To breathe, to receive, and to let yourself be carried by an atmosphere of serenity and stillness. Let yourself be immersed in a bath of light resonance and inner peace. Luminous Stillness is an invitation to become quiet… and to start shining from within. Please provide your own yoga mat, a blanket, and possibly a pillow for the head. So that you can enjoy this concert in complete comfort. Biografie Andy Vanbeveren is passionate about music and its effects on people. What once started with singing bowls and gongs has since grown into a collection of more than 350 instruments. Native American Flute, didgeridoo, handpan, tongue drum, all kinds of percussion and drums, numerous string instruments, piano, and many other world instruments belong to his unique collection. He completed various training courses at home and abroad and was able to learn from many great 'masters' in their field such as Hans de Back (singing bowls), Shree Krishna Shahi and Santa Ratna Shakya (singing bowls), Don Conreaux (gongs), Michael Telepary (Native American Flute), Nestor Kornblum (overtone singing),... Since 2010, he has had more than 1000 concerts to his name. Not only throughout Flanders, but also in the Netherlands. He has played at Tomorrowland, the Japanese garden in Hasselt, Casino van Blankenberge, numerous cultural centers, churches, etc. He is known for his continuous innovations in sound combinations. A passion that he now also knows how to interpret via live looping. In the past, he played together with other musicians such as Tylaine Van den Broeck (piano), Gilbert Isbin (lute), John Snauwaert (sax), Michael Telapary (American Native Flute), Nicolas Mortelmans (sitar), Hari Paudjal (bansuri flute), Hélène Philippart (bansuri flute and transverse flute), Manish Pingle (slide guitar), Catherine Maes (mezzo-soprano), Bart Gits (taiko), Kees Kort (shakuhachi), Aki Vergels-Sato (koto), Cantavita (overtone singing), etc. In addition, he has already accompanied numerous yoga sessions, meditation, teambuildings, festivals, Ecstatic Dance, etc.
