La Caravane of the Mûchettes

In her caravan, Véda does not live alone. The true owners of the premises are the mûchettes, small hairy beings who wake up at night and spend all their time drawing. Day after day, she discovers their adventures, scribbled in the four corners of her habitat. Among the mûchettes with strong personalities, there is Gigi and her brother Michto, who create shows for their congeners, or even Boubouc, the eternal dissatisfied who dreams of expanding his heritage. With contagious joy, Véda tells us about the adventures of her funny roommates. By entering the cockpit, we abandon our shoes, our jackets, and reality as we know it. We penetrate into the world created by the mûchettes, in the interstices of that of adults. Between tale and comic book, the universe unfolds in an ingenious scenography, a true treasure of inventiveness. Juggling with words and characters, Aline Mahaux takes us on an extraordinary journey where the imaginary is king. From one story to another, a reflection on the relationship to others, to having, and to power is woven, in an ode to the candor and cruelty of childhood. La Caravane des Mûchettes is back in the courtyard of the Studio, after a first stop last season, during the Festival Métamorphose. This immersive show invites young spectators to a moment out of time, where the crampedness of the space reinforces the power of the shared narratives.
