Just as subtly expanding ripples in the water reflect a slow echo of the Big Bang, David's compositions draw their inspiration from 'Life in Motion'. From the smallest atomic fluctuations to the largest shifts in the universe, via the most human dance movements: his exploration of 'Movement' results in an original program in which a variety of tempos, rhythms, and melodies take the audience on an inspiring sound journey. Building on the ideas of timeless masterpieces, David's solo repertoire combines his own compositions with inspiring classical works. In addition to a carefully curated selection from his 300 Oneliners – short pieces with unexpected harmonic turns and complex time signatures – he also plays some of his longer compositions. Varying from introspective to hyperkinetic, and enriched by influences from a wide range of music genres, his melodies remain very accessible to an audience of all ages and musical preferences.
