In October '25 August Parker was released, Ozark Henry's first studio album in eight years. “Sensitive, profound, nowhere high-flown and also just commercially responsible”, wrote Oor. The first two singles, ‘Light’ and ‘Martyr’, immediately set the tone: immersive, intense and emotionally layered. ‘Light’ is based on a true story about hearing and identity, while ‘Martyr’ reflects on powerlessness in a struggle we do not choose ourselves.
