Anniversary concert with Jef Neve

***Anniversary concert with guest pianist Jef Neve*** We are gradually approaching the apotheosis of our festive year 100 years of Vermaak Na Arbeid! After the gala concert with the Koninklijke Muziekkapel of the Navy on Friday, October 16 in CCG, we will put the cherry on the proverbial festive cake on November 28! We are extremely pleased to then share the stage in the Europahal with none other than guest star Jef Neve. With his unique mix of jazz, classical, and contemporary music, pianist and composer Jef Neve has known how to touch a broad audience for years. His virtuosic piano playing, warm personality, and compelling compositions make every concert a special experience. In the first part of the concert, conductor Bart Lagacie and also honorary conductor Bernard Buyse take the orchestra through a number of wonderful musical gems that have lain on the music stands in recent decades. In part 2, you will then hear Jef Neve with a number of solo works but also in ensemble playing with Vermaak Na Arbeid.
