'Echoes of the Handpan' lying-down concert

Let yourself be carried away by the enchanting sounds of the handpan, a gentle stream of tones that invites you to deep relaxation and inner harmony. During this sound healing concert, the handpan takes center stage. Andy takes you on a journey into a world where different handpans resonate: each with its own 'sound'. Sometimes solo... but of course sometimes in combination with other instruments. Completely in Overtone style. :) Sometimes rhythmic, sometimes dreamy and meditative. Slowly, peace and connection emerge where tones come together. Feel how the interplay opens your body, slows down your thoughts, and clears your mind. An evening of dreamy sounds, a gentle journey through yourself, carried by the magic of the handpan. Please provide your own yoga mat, blanket, and possibly a pillow for your head. This way, you can fully enjoy this lying-down concert in complete comfort. Biografie Andy Vanbeveren is passionate about music and its effects on people. What once started with singing bowls and gongs has since grown into a collection of more than 350 instruments. Native American Flute, didgeridoo, handpan, tongue drum, all kinds of percussion and drums, numerous string instruments, piano, and many other world instruments belong to his unique collection. He completed various training courses at home and abroad and was able to learn from many great 'masters' in their field such as Hans de Back (singing bowls), Shree Krishna Shahi and Santa Ratna Shakya (singing bowls), Don Conreaux (gongs), Michael Telepary (Native American Flute), Nestor Kornblum (overtone singing),... Since 2010, he has more than 1000 concerts to his name. Not only throughout Flanders, but also in the Netherlands. He has played at Tomorrowland, the Japanese Garden in Hasselt, Casino van Blankenberge, numerous cultural centers, churches, etc. He is known for his constant innovations in sound combinations. A passion that he now also knows how to interpret via live looping. In the past, he has played together with other musicians such as Tylaine Van den Broeck (piano), Gilbert Isbin (lute), John Snauwaert (sax), Michael Telapary (American Native Flute), Nicolas Mortelmans (sitar), Hari Paudjal (bansuri flute), Hélène Philippart (bansuri flute and transverse flute), Manish Pingle (slide guitar), Catherine Maes (mezzo-soprano), Bart Gits (taiko), Kees Kort (shakuhachi), Aki Vergels-Sato (koto), Cantavita (overtone singing), etc. In addition, he has already accompanied numerous yoga sessions, meditation, team building events, festivals, Ecstatic Dance, etc.
