A young woman ends up in the dilapidated castle of a bitter nobleman who lives isolated from the world. With his wild appearance and ice-cold heart, he prefers to wander grumbling through the cold rooms rather than talk to people. He is not used to company, let alone someone like Belle. In their latest performance, De Proefkonijnen combines classical magic with nostalgic theater in a quirky, sparkling style that enchants young and old. Because while Het Beest tries to keep her at a distance, Belle slowly manages to break through his armor.
