Meeting at 3 p.m. at the municipal square in front of the town hall (ending around 5:30 p.m.)
Slow roads are not only historically valuable, but often also form important, ribbon-like connections between nature reserves. Unfortunately, they still regularly disappear: they are plowed up or closed off without prior consultation.
Today we explore some of these roads in the area of Edegem to draw attention to their status and importance.
We meet at the municipal square of Edegem where we leave together, by bike.
Do you have a warm heart for slow roads and their accessibility for walkers? Then we would love to welcome you.
Be sure to check our website at the beginning of October. There we will already lift a corner of the veil about which old slow roads we will explore.
