Let yourself be surprised by the hidden charm of Rillaar! This beautiful walk shows you the most beautiful contrasts of the village. We start at the Hagelandse Academie. Then we dive into nature along the grasslands of the Motte and climb the beautiful 'col' of the Konijnenberg – a small effort that is rewarded with magnificent panoramas! We walk through Rommelaar, the furthest hamlet with its scattered houses. We slowly descend to the village center where we admire the special Saint Nicholas Church and the tribute to 'the seasonal worker'. Rillaar is unique: it is the home of specialized watercress cultivation under greenhouse* and a renowned organic butcher with its own pork.
