Classical finesse and modern soul melt together effortlessly. BIRTHE (23) combines soul with strings and horns in a timeless way, influenced by pop, funk and jazz. With a background in classical music and a passion for storytelling, she processes themes like personal growth and self-development in her songs. Musically she reaches back to the essence of the 50s, 60s and 70s: live played instruments and minimal electronic sounds. Together with producer OSKI she creates a warm, authentic sound. BIRTHE has been on stage since she was 14 and has since then achieved quite a few things on her track record. For example, she already played three times at the Gentse Feesten and on the Mainstage of the Rijvers Festival. Last summer she could be seen at, among others, Suikerrock, the iconic festival Marktrock and in a sold-out AB Club. Live you may expect a compelling show where both musicality and entertainment are central. Since her debut single in 2023 BIRTHE released eight songs. Her music received national airplay on Radio 2, MNM, JoeFM, StuBru and Bruzz and was picked up by Het Nieuwsblad, Dansende Beren, Luminous Dash,.. HLN already called her one of the talents that will break through in 2026. In addition, BIRTHE brought her own song ‘Till We Meet’ in the new VRT music program LiveLiveLive, where she was immediately named one of the surprises of the program. In September 2026 her debut album ‘Trial & Error’ will be officially released.
