Gilbert Nyatanyi is signing his moving autobiographical debut novel 'The Boy Who Ate Bees'. Born in Rwanda but raised in down-to-earth West Flanders, he tells about his youth full of honey, warmth, and color that takes on a different sheen when he loses his father and is sent to Belgium as a child. He weaves the story of his family and a torn country with that of a boy who learns what resilience sounds like – sometimes like a buzz.
