Musica H. - Vibrations ... - Performance 1

A musical evening in which co-creation is central. The historic clock tower and the Saint-Salvator Church form the backdrop for a musical journey with countertenor Pieter De Praetere , sound artist and composer Jorrit Tamminga , Mireille Capelle and HERMESensemble for contemporary music, the inclusive stads[K]oor (city choir), and dj Dimitri Andreas . Ancient chants merge with contemporary sounds, electronics, and improvisation and grow into a special musical experience at an exceptional site. Musicians are particularly inspired by the oeuvre of Peter Benoit. The evening is curated by Diederik Glorieux and aligns with his research project, in which co-creation in contemporary music practice is central. Vibrations... is an initiative of Musica H., which stimulates creation.
