Festival of the Book: Workshop crochet balloon balls with Het Haakbeest

Haacht is crocheting during this fun workshop! On Saturday, November 7, Elke Wellens van Het Haakbeest is coming to demonstrate how to crochet balloon balls just as cute as the ones in her new book. If you want to be sure of a spot, you can reserve by sending an email to sb.haacht@standaardboekhandel.be, but joining on the day itself is also allowed. Crocheting balloon balls Let your creativity run wild with this cheerful collection of balloon balls, an original form of amigurumi with an inflatable balloon inside. The balls are soft, light, firm, and perfect for small children's hands. Ideal for toddlers, preschoolers, older children, and secretly for the parents too. Every creation is not only super cute, but also practical to take along and easy to maintain. In this book, you will find ten unique figures, each with an included mini version that can also double as a stress ball. Thanks to the clear step-by-step instructions, you can dive right in, whether you are a beginner or a seasoned crocheter. The extra video guidance for both right- and left-handed people ensures a perfect result in any case. Ideal as a gift or to enjoy yourself. This event is part of Festival of the Book (www.standaardboekhandel.be/feest-van-het-boek).
