We are going for a walk in the more than 150-hectare domain of Hobos in the Limburgse Pelt. Central to this area is a historic farm with a very rich history, closely linked to the legendary ‘bokkenrijders’ (buck riders). The vast deciduous and coniferous forests harbor a great biodiversity of flora and fauna. No pesticides or artificial fertilizers have ever been used on large pieces of pasture. A unique feature in Flanders and a conscious choice of the last private owner. The historic standard orchard is also absolutely worth it! This area has been in the hands of ANB for a few years now. It is publicly accessible and is part of the Nationaal Park Bosland. Curious? Then definitely come along for a walk. The distance is approximately 6.5 kilometers. Good footwear is sufficient.
