Open-air film ‘Zondag de Negenste’

Experience the magic of an open-air film in your own village. We are showing a film by director Kat Steppe, a resident of Liedekerke . Zondag de Negenste tells the story of brothers Horst ( Josse De Pauw ) and Franz ( Peter Van den Begin ) who see each other again after a life full of missed opportunities. Horst suffers from a lack of zest for life and Alzheimer's. Franz needs money and hopes for his brother's inheritance. Ook Andrea, Horst's great love, appears. Determined to make up for lost time. The film weaves the memories of two brothers with those of the residents of a residential care center and thus tells, in a unique way, that caring for each other is perhaps the most essential form of humanity.
